Just a short trip from Varberg lies the Årnäs peninsula, with a nature conservation area at the point towards the ocean. There are so many opportunities here that makes for great photographs.

The Årnäs peninsula is easy to get to by car, just some 20-30 min drive north of Varberg. There is good parking facilities just at the gate of the nature conservation area. From there, it is a breeze to walk in the area. It is quite flat, although the ground is rocky and pebbly here and there. Sheep graze the area and are often curious about visitors. Watch out also for ticks.
